What to expect when you visit
At Youth Church, we try our hardest to make visiting an easy experience and to ensure that you feel comfortable at all times.
What should I wear?
You don't need to dress-up to come to Youth Church. There is no dress code – just come dressed as you feel comfortable.
Do I need to bring anything?
No, you don't need to bring anything, though you may find a Bible useful.
What happens when I get there?
When you arrive before the service, feel free to grab a sofa and sit down. People may come and talk to you – we want to make you feel welcome.
What will happen during the service?
Normally, the service begins with prayer and notices. Then, the band comes to lead a time of worship – if you don't feel comfortable singing, feel free to simply stand and listen. Most of our songs are modern – we don't have many hymns! After a few songs, someone will come and give a talk. This may be followed by a time of prayer and reflection where again you will be welcome to just sit quietly. After the service, there is chance to chill out and chat. If you have any questions, feel free to ask anyone you have seen at the front.
